Sad to hear the news of the passing of Ali, who died on 26th December 2023.

Ali was a big character, and an enthusiastic volunteer who helped build the hut at Three Hares. He was good craic, loved being in the outdoors, always played with the dogs on site, quite often had a joke to tell (What was Beethoven’s favourite fruit? Ban-nan-nan-naaaa) and a song to sing (was a smooth crooner around the camp fire!). He always looked out for others and with his partner in crime Davy, simply put, they got stuff done. You will be missed, pal.
