Conservation Volunteering Day this Sunday the 28th

Join us this Sunday for another fun conservation day.

Sampling from one of our very first conservation day now looking a lot bigger thans they did 5 years ago.

This Sunday from 11am till 3pm we’ll have our monthly conservation. After a warm summer we have lots of sorting out as parts of the land are very over grown. We plan to do some braken removal and of course our all important tree care.

Lots of stakes and tree guards which we use to keep our saplings safe from the ever hungry deer!

Make sure to bring a packed lunch and appropriate clothing as ever the unpredictable august weather is still with us. This is a family friendly event and everyone is welcome to join us for all or part of the day.

If you are unsure of how to find us either by public transport or car all the information can be found here https://three-hares-woodland.org/how-to-find-us/

Hope to see some of you there!

About foragingandfindings

I'm a 4th year student at Edinburgh University studying ecology. I have a keen interest in foraging and nature and I've made this blog to share this. It will contain tips on what to forage and when and what to do with it afterwards.
