As the nights start to draw in we know how important it is to get out in nature and this weekend we have not one but TWO events to do just that!

Did you know haws can be used to make ketchup!
The first event called ‘Listening to the Land’ will be on Saturday and is run by Dougie Mackay (https://www.facebook.com/storyconnectionDM) and Kriya Arts (https://www.facebook.com/kriyaartspage). This event will be a day of story sharing, nature connection, dialogue and performance. Celebrating ancient and emerging stories that offer a ray of light in these changing times.

The second event will be on Sunday. This will be our first volunteering day which is open to the public since the start of the pandemic so it’s very exciting! This time we will be focussing on tree care.

Ensuring that the 3000 trees we have planted over the last 5 years have the best chance of success. Alice our funding officer will be leading this. This event is open to everyone so make sure to share with your friends and invite them along!
