A Woodland Design Course using the combined skills and enthusiasm of Three Hares members and visiting permaculture design students took place over a couple of recent weekends. Participants braved the rain to carefully examine the site, mapping its possibilities and coming up with suggestions for future development. Ideas under consideration include a central hub pavilion/building, increasing the amount and variety of trees grown on the site, a forest garden, growing vegetables, craft and woodland skills workshops, children’s events, and much more.
Participants worked together to whittle the incredible range of possible activities down to prioritising what is going to happen first, and a timescale. A key intention is to get as many local people involved as possible, so if you’d like to take part, contact us!
