Due to an upcoming project in October of a Community Orchard Creation at Three Hares, we are moving our August Volunteer Day to Sunday 10th September, same time 11am-3pm. On this day we will be removing bracken and sharing scything techniques. We will also run our usual Volunteer Day in September, on the last Sunday of the month (24th). So that’s 2 Volunteer Days in September in order to remove bracken from the area where the Orchard will be planted.

Watch this space for more details coming soon of a course running at Three Hares in October to learn building techniques to create a cleft fence to protect the Orchard from browsing deer. You will learn hand tool woodworking and fence building. Details posted very soon!
